The product
Pitch Tax is a founder tool that helps you detect cold outbound in a connected mailbox, send a priced reply, collect payment through Stripe Connect, and label unpaid senders. The product is free. We take a platform fee (default 10%) on collected tolls. Stripe processing fees are additional.
Your mailbox
You authorize us (or our mail processor) to read new mail, send replies you confirm or enable via autopilot, and apply labels or filters. We do not mark ordinary cold outreach as spam. You are responsible for the content of your toll replies and for complying with Gmail, Google, and applicable anti-spam law.
Payments
Tolls are charged by you, as a Stripe connected account, to the sender who chooses to pay. Pitch Tax is not the merchant of record for those charges. Refunds, chargebacks, and tax reporting on collected tolls are your responsibility unless we say otherwise in writing.
Acceptable use
Do not use Pitch Tax to extort, harass, or impersonate. Do not point the booth at mailboxes you do not control. We may suspend accounts that abuse the product or our processors.
Disclaimer
The service is provided “as is” during early access. Classification will be wrong sometimes. We are not liable for missed mail, lost deals, or Gmail policy changes. Liability is limited to fees we actually collected from you in the prior 30 days (often $0).
Changes
We may update these terms as the product ships. Continued use after a posted change is acceptance. Governing law: the state of the operator’s principal residence, pending a later entity formation.
